It is an imidazole antifungal drug which is specialliy use in the treatment of tinea pedis i.e fungal infection of the skin on the feet as well as between the toes, Jock itch, tinea cruris i.e fungal infection of the skin in the groin or buttocks . It aims on slowing down the growth of fungi that leads to the infection. Luliconazole is a topical agent and applied once a day for a week .
Luliconazole cream is only for external use only . The best method to use the cream is apply the enough cream to the affected area as well as about 1 inch of skin around it and after apply the cream one should wash the hands . Don’t use the cream in the vaginal area.
